Kenny Haiti sued by Boston promoter
The rumors are now confirmed. Kenny Haiti is being sued for breach of contract by Quabizion. According to a source close to the company, Kenny had a verbal agreement to provide entertainment on February, 16th in Boston for Quabizion, which he ignored. They only found out when a video was circulating on the internet promoting Kenny Haiti at a different venue for a different promotion company on that same date.
It’s just a matter of principle, said the source. “Haitian artists and musicians gotta show some respect for Boston’s promoters. So, we had to lawyer-up in order to stop this kind of disrespect to continue in our community”.
One question remains though, is a verbal agreement binding in the state of Massachusetts? – YES, a verbal agreement can be legally binding in Massachusetts if they meet certain requirements. To be continued …
