After a warm reception during Ekip’s Press Conference in Boston, it rained all day, and pretty much all night leading to the band’s performance.
In spite of the rain though, a considerable amount of fans still came out to support Ekip in their quest to revitalize the band in their second attempt to reach a higher level of popularity on the market. This was their CD Release Party to launch their sophomore album named “Makiye mize’w”, which is well received across the board.
Haitian-American singer Jason Derulo included his collaboration song with the late Mikaben in Paris, performing the Konpa track 'Ayo Girl' during his tour. In our recent interview, Derulo expressed his dedication to honoring Mikaben's extraordinary talent throughout his career, ensuring the late singer's legacy lives on for future generations.
