In a letter addressed to their fans and the press, Ekip just announced that D-Perfect will be on leave of absence from the band. This is a major blow considering that Steeve-K, Ekip’s lead singer, has also walked away because of mutual contract disagreements. So now, Ekip is looking for a new singer to fill-in for D-Perfect until his return, if it actually happens.
The iconic Konpa-Love artist, Alan Cavé, recently revealed a special project via a video published on his social networks. It is an event concert, scheduled for Spring 2026, intended to celebrate both his 35-year career and the 25th anniversary of a cult album "Se pa pou dat". This concert will officially be titled "Se pa pou dat - 25 / 35 Live concert". Stay tuned for more details.
