Haitian Labor Day Fest cancelled yet again!
Just like last year, Team Venus has cancelled the Labor Day Fest and this year, it has to do with Sound Ordinance Permit, which was not granted on time. See the Press Release below:

No fatalities at Boston Caribbean this year
The 2025 Boston Caribbean Carnival took place on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025, in the Roxbury and Dorchester areas, culminating at Franklin Park. The event featured two parades: the J’Ouvert parade in the early morning and the main Caribbean Carnival parade in the afternoon, with both events celebrating Caribbean culture with music, dance, and elaborate costumes. While past Boston carnivals have experienced violence, news reports indicate there were no fatalities at the Caribbean Carnival in August 2025. Local officials and organizers have been working to improve safety following a shooting in 2023.
