After 7 years of devoted collaboration, EmmyNix has decided to part ways with Zenglen. In a press-release written in French, he thanked Zenglen and his bandmates for the opportunity.
Zenglen camp also came out with a press-release to thank EmmyNix for his contribution while announcing Frero Jean-Baptiste’s return after being absent for over 15 years, as his replacement.
Both parties remain civil during this inexplicable and rather sudden departure but words are going around that EmmyNix did not leave on a friendly term. So, time will tell!
The prelude press conference to Phantoms Reunion was held at Bentley's in New York, Sunday, January 26, 2025. Like Carimi, this band, led by King Kino, who had stopped performing for a very long time, will return to the stage in 2025. A multi-date tour is planned and the launch concert is expected to take place in Canada. The group plans to resume service this Spring. Stay tuned!
